How dare he crash our incredibly realistic re-enactment of ...what? They didn't have plastic cups in 1066?

Never mind.

"Yeah, could somebody point me in the direction of the rebel alliance...?"

it was a dark & stormy knight...

Did they allow little kids in shorts at the battle?

I didn't know Stormtroopers had moobs....

A new H. Turtledove "alternative history" novel. Given the way the stormtroopers fought against the Ewoks, I'm betting on the 11th century humans.

No one is dressed for the Battle of Hastings.

Yeah, I noticed that. Nice 15th century gear on some of those folks, but no pics of anything much older than that.

Although, the Star Wars thing does say, "A long time ago ..." Maybe it's a quantum thing.

He didn't find the droids he was looking for

I find their lack of faith disturbing.

Looks more like a new edition of Hornblower, Boy and Man.

He didn't find the re-enactment he was looking for.

Now that was one battle the French ended up winning. William the Bastard did so well that he got to change his name.

Didn't the English lose the Battle of Hastings? That would be like re-enacting Pearl Harbor! Or Vietnam.

Depends on who you regard as "English". There's a few Picts who might give you an argument there.
