Explains where the Windows 8 Start Menu went. Genius Execs. at M$ lay down the bong and plan to 'put it back' with Windows 8.1.

If Microsoft involved, I foresee a lotta crashing...

Be sure to update your antivirus protection and do not confuse the multiple tiny icons.
I'll wait for the Mac version.

Finally, an add-on that makes other Microsoft products bearable.

Behind the curve again. Google has been in this business for years. After an hour or so on one or the other of my Android devices, I'm dazed, confused, my eyes are red, and I'm ... um, like people tell me you get when you smoke, ah, stuff. Or so they say.

MSFT products have always been notorious for eating up lots of memory... what was my point?

This is mostly being handled by open-source groups right now.

As I understand it, MT, they're not bringing back the Start Menu, but the Start Button. Which is an excellent example of them Missing the Point. And probably ... um ... sampling the new product, as well.

M$ 8.1 first BETA due to be released as early as June complete with a start button, but no Start Menu with this BETA release. You are correct Sir RTWH. The geniuses claim user feedback dictated the removal of the start menu. My user feedback after installing Windows 8.1 BETA will be sent back with non interrupted use of the word 'moron'.
*My wife, the one wearing the brains, said, "That should really make them listen to you calling them morons."

Oh, come on. If Microsoft really listened to user feedback, they'd have been roasting in hell for years.

1st the firewall won't allow you to light it. You get it lit and it slows down and hardly burns while it thinks about existence. Sometimes you get high, sometimes you just scream. Then it updates and restarts so you lose your high. Then when you try to use open source drugs it sends you an injunction. And BTW, no one likes the pad, pod or phone versions.
Duuuude yoour money is sooo wasted.
