'oops' is not even going to begin to cover it. Neither is a lousy million pounds.

Note to UK health care providers: before anyone touched my broken wrist, four (4) different people asked me which one they were going to be working on, and the surgeon signed my arm with a Sharpie. Same-same with eye surgery, except for the Sharpie part. Get with the program.

I worked at Presbyterian Orthopedic Hospital in Charlotte and we always wrote NO on the wrong leg or arm before surgery. We used a Sharpie also so it wouldn't rub off. For this type of surgery I used a ballpoint pen.

Happy to sell either of mine for a million. Price might even be negotiable. Just leave me a spare.

I don't know much about bowling, but I thought leaving a spare ... oh, forget it. Lame and off topic. I'll try to do better. Cindy and the ballpoint is a hard act to follow.

See, it's a conspiracy. No wonder the UK birth rate has dropped precipitously.

Rereading this, it occurs to me that writing "NO" on body parts you don't want removed is a sensible precaution. Got an appointment today, in fact, and I think I'll give it a try.
