This reminds me of a scene from The Simpsons many, many years ago titled "Bart Sells His Soul". The organist from Rev. Lovejoy's church plays "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" for 17 minutes, but collapses at the end.
Key quote: "Wait a minute! This sounds like rock and/or roll".

Many organists smoke, so I'm not surprised.
My college handbell choir performed on the night before an organ dedication. An arsonist torched the church that night.
