Also a pilot's license and a stunt-driving contract. Seatbelts would not have helped if truck had been going any slower. Of course, it may have stayed on the road, too.

The way that the teo people are so casually standing on the naroow ledge betweent he truck and the edge of the 'canyon' makes me think that the second photwas faked.

I also wondered whether it had been faked, so I used Google Image Search on the second picture. According to Snopes, it's real, but happened in Utah, not Arizona. The culvert is on State Road 59, near Hurricane City, Utah.

Also, according to snopes, it happened in 2006. File under "Yes, it's old. But it's important."

My first thought was Abequiu (sp?) Reservoir in New Mexico, but it has a dam right where that culvert is.

Well, the only appropriate thing for anyone to say would be a simple, "Ta-Daa!"

"Here, Hon, hold my beer and watch this."

I live in Arizona and there is no Highway 100 anywhere in the state, much less near Flagstaff. That just proves there are no stupid drivers in Arizona.

I wonder how these two are doing on the mission they were assigned by God back in 2006 when this happened. There is no other reason for them to be alive.
