I am shocked to learn that alcohol and sex are connected in any way. Shocked, I tell you!

If you experience five-hour energy lasting longer than five hours, contact a physician (or an existentialist) immediately.

Trouble is after too much alcohol I forget what sex is. Shoot I used to forget who I was. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

On several occasions during my youth, women took advantage of me while I was under the influence. As oldfatguy says, "That's my story and I'm sticking to it".

What would help this problem is if people had MORE alcohol. Imagine if the average guy, who if he had had 5 beers and would hit on anything that moves, had instead had 10 beers and 1/2 bottle of JD. He wouldn't be able to move let alone bother the ladies. I don't think this solution is effective for the ladies though.

a condom might not feel as necessary

I'm not quite sure what a condom can feel, but I do know that they don't allow guys to feel much.

LeDud, sometimes ladies don't want you to have too much alcohol in your system, iykwim. My heart goes out to WVplantman for all the times some callous woman took advantage of his innocence.

" Casual " fine... as long as it wasn't " hot monkey " .

Tarbender, another round over here

You just can't trust those ladies, Cindy. That's why I avoid getting drunk.

Thanks NC, *sniff* It's a painful non-memory.

This is a typical overstatement of the results by the media. The story says "...the study findings seem to indicate that alcohol mixed with energy drinks might play a role in the "hook-up culture" that exists on many college campuses." Combining "seem to indicate" with "might play a role" = pure speculation with no statistical significance.

Correlation does not always mean causality, or even casuality. It's just as possible that those intending to participate in casual sex are attracted to caffeine and alcohol.

Almost 100% of those engaging in risky sex drank milk as children; using this logic it's obviously a more dangerous beverage.

I don't drink and I have a camera and a scrapbook...

There, there WVplantman. Here, have a nice 5-Hour Energy Drink wine spritzer.

Everyone who has ever eaten mayo has died before they are 150. The stuff should be banned.

Layzeeboy,

a condom might not feel as necessary

I'm not quite sure what a condom can feel...

That's a job for the KimKierkegaardashian!
