It's mock an existentialist day!
"... and a man they called Kierkegaard who just sat there biting the 'eads off whippets."

Simultaneously depressing and annoying. I thought only my kids could do that to me.

Does it say anywhere, "What is fame? Who has it? Why do I have it?"

What could be more depressing than flash-in-the-pan media personalities ?

Yes, Cindy. How'd you guess. Have you actually heard of Kierkegaard? Can you spell his name?
Posted by: Elon | July 30, 2012 at 01:28 PM
*SMACKS* Elon. Of course I've heard of him. I took some philosophy classes in college (Go Heels!) and I basically learned from some of his writings that no matter what you do you will regret it. I'm a lot smarter than I sometimes appear. Or not.

"...Known associates of the Piranha Brothers included American musical stars, aristocrats, a man named Kierkegaard who bit the heads off whippets and other gang leaders..."
Posted by: Allen at Division | July 30, 2012 at 02:53 PM
*SMACKS* Elon again.
Posted by: nursecindy | July 30, 2012 at 03:18 PM
*smacks* Elon for condescending to nursecindy.
Posted by: Jeff Meyerson | July 30, 2012 at 03:50 PM
Wasn't trying to be condescending. I can't remember how to spell his name myself, but you are definitely more up on your dead philosophers than I. Here's another.

Yes cindy, but how many assists per game did Kierkegaard average in the ACC tournament?
Posted by: padraig | July 31, 2012 at 10:18 AM
Padraig, the best gaards usually have around 10 assists per game so probably somewhere around those numbers.

This:
My soul always turns back to the Old Testament & Shakespeare. They hate, love, murder their enemies. What could be more summery than that?
Good morning Miami! Here everything lies naked and visible before God, and consciousness has nowhere to hide.
Genius!

A mere DAY and 3 hours.
Forgot what day it was. Working 15 days straight 16-hour days that sometimes...
