I should point out that, this having happened in Flint, Michigan, he's lucky she didn't shoot him. That's the major pass time up that-a-way.
Or, to put it another way, Padraig's question could be re-phrased, "... the frying pan or open fire?"

Seems a woman will assault a man with a frying pan even if she does the wrong thing. Its like pointing to someone else when the cheese is cut - always the guy's fault, regardless.
