Somebody is carrying out a plot, world wide, to discredit protection groups. Consider; US Secret Service blots its copy book; French bodyguard guys "forget" their guns; now this Canadian stabs himself in public. I suspect it's some multi-national security company, ramping up an ad campaign. "Heads of state! Are your guards a crew of bumbling stooges? Tired of being protected by the Keystone Kops? Hire us ..." etc. , etc.
