Find a need and fill it.

Beats hanging out by the fire, I suppose.

"...wore these for centuries..."
And our women think us strange if we don't change our underwear daily.

we're gonna need bigger moth balls

Does she hand measure?

Knead a Phil and warm it.

i dunno, jeff -

'if people are shy, they can provide me with the measurements they've taken themselves,'

- they must be hard to measure

I finally gave up and looked up the word "bespoke" and it's basically a fancy way to say "made to order." Frickin' Brits just ought to learn English.

I'm ashamed to admit this but, I've crocheted and knitted these before. They were for some friends that wanted to give them to their husbands as a joke gift. I didn't measure anybody either. Most of the requests were for size XXL. Here's the pattern for anyone that is interested. btw, DO NOT OPEN AT WORK OIYDWYMTTY(NY)G.

Don't tug on Superman's cape, eh, nc?

Yeah, ScottMGS ... or p!ss into the ... um ... Willie Warmer ...

Wasn't Willy Warmer played by Gene Wilder?

Don't pull the mask off that old lone ranger.

Thanks for the link Nursecindy. Those styles look playful and cozy!

This may seem like kind of a dumb question: but why not just wear long underwear?

So true Scott! Will, why do men prefer to see women in garter belts instead of pantyhose?

nc, I'm not sure why men prefer to see anything but bare leg but maybe that's just me.

It's whut's suggested by the idea of whut's either "hidden" or "implied" ... to the libido ...

(Shel Silverstein had a cartoon essay on this years ago, about this concept, as related to "life in a nudist camp" ... )

As a child, I actually remember my mother making one of these for her boyfriend. He was not amused, as I recall. And I have forever put out of my mind the circumstances whereby I came upon this tidbit of family lore.

"Bespoke" Willy Warmer was prime minister of West Germany, briefly, in 1959. He was ousted when the public found out what his name meant in English.
