I always thought it was pretty stupid. NOw I am proven right.

“Yet when we placed them in small groups, ranked their performance on cognitive tasks against their peers, and broadcast those rankings to them, we saw dramatic drops in the ability of some study subjects to solve problems.

Cognative tasks? Like writing their own names, bills and stuff?

So now we have proof that Committees and Congress-folks never work!?!!!

LInky no worky ... image shows up, and disappears (refreshes?) after a couple of seconds ... takes a LONG time to re-appear ...

Despite that, appraisal of Dave's commentary reminds me of an equation on sociological behavior ...

"The IQ of a mob is equal to that of the highest IQ in the mob ... divided by the number of people in the mob."

Merely sayin' ... (this is NOT "news" ... or "gnus" ...)

You. Had. Better. Not. Say. A. Word.

Maybe this is why the dumbest reality TV involves groups?

"Stupid is as stupid does."

Hey, stop picking on "The View"!!

Where else ya gonna see (or hear) Whoopi fart, Barbara babble, Joy's off-color jokes, Elizabeth's world views, and Sherri's bodacious-ness?

Why, it's a cultural treasure! And there is no violins..I mean violence or expleitives so it's kiddy-safe! So get off thier case!

At least (as far as we know) they are sloshed on the air like Pat Sajak or Kathie Lee Gifford!!!
Give em some credit! Besides, even if they misinform, what harm does it do? They're there toi sell soap and fem products, not edjumacate!!!

There's such a fine line between clever and stupid. As is demonstrated here every day, frequently by me.
