(Thanks to Monique, who sings, "Cl-i-i-i-i-mb every mountain! Ford every stream...")

Still sore about that "sheep and goats" parable.

Goat on the Lam? That was Adam Sandler right? Or was it Pauly Shore? Carrot Top?

Local 1225 Creche Animals Guild is still a pretty hard-nosed outfit.

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good...

"HEY! GET BACK HERE, YOU STUPID GOAT!!"

Probably mad because they wouldn't let him eat the swaddling clothes.
Oh, my great-niece was born this morning. She is going to have Christmas issues her whole life. Either that or ego problems with all the hoopla about her personal birthday.

Congrats, Steve! Wishing you a non-egotistical, well-adjusted great-niece. :-)

It's not his fault. He's just an escapegoat.

Congratulations from me too, Steve! One of my friend's had one son born on Christmas Day and her other was born on Christmas Eve exactly one year later. They celebrate their half birthdays in June since people have a tendency to lump their Christmas and birthday gifts together.

nursecindy: That's nice timing for tax deductions, also.

A goat, a llama and two puppies -- usually the most difficult parts to fill for nativity scenes, and this one had them all! For awhile.

A goat, a llama and two puppies walk into a bar, and the bartender says, "What is this, a crèche?"

High on a hill was a lonely goatherd,
aye-yodel-aye-yodel-aye-hee-hoo!
