STAY THE HELL OFF THESE GUYS' LAWNS

A police vehicle was returning to Grafton police station at 7.15pm on Monday, March 7, when officers saw a man holding a tomahawk in his right hand above his head in front of a Villiers St address.

On the veranda of a nearby house they spotted another man, Roger Francis Guest, who was holding a spear gun and a bow-saw, with two axes nearby, the court heard.

Beware of guests with spear guns; they're axing for trouble.

Would make a good movie; they could call it " Eegah ".

The Florida version.

Oh, those wacky Aussies.

Don't bring an ax (or an 'axe') to a spear gun fight.

The Right to Bear Axes would be a great name for a band.

The trouble with "unknown offences" (note Australian spelling) is that no one can tell you the penalties involved.

So Santa gave them a Bow-saw and a spear gun instead of the riffles the kids where able to play with.
