Didn't they make an old, original Outer Limits story where several of these worm-fish were swimming in a
sand sea on a planet where astronauts landed? They were the size of St. Bernards, if I recall correctly.

True Story:
I was in line at the grocery, the person ahead of me had 2000000 coupons. I started to read the tabloids and one of the pictures was of a chick embryo. The Headline was that is was a space alien come to earth to steal our pets!
