–noun Australian .
a rowdy, usually drunken party.

Origin:
back formation from rorty boisterous, rowdy, in earlier British slang: jolly, fine, splendid; of uncertain origin

I admit it. I have a Ph.D. and I had to look that up.

wait, what?

I also read that rorting can refer to branch stacking. Hope that helps.

They don't even TRY to explain it to us (we? Mr. Language Person?) American-types. I thought it meant farting. That's funnier.

I thought that was another of those terms that I would have to ask my daughter to define.
Geezer bus, anyone?

Other sources also provide a second noun def, as well as:

—vb
3. to take unfair advantage of something

Australians have our Medicare? No wonder we are bankrupt.

After rorting, say " excuse me " .

I would like to go on record by saying I have never rorted with a doctor.

Don't doctors work on rortations ?

We need rort reform.

Your dictionary needs updating.

A rort is a scam.

A rio-rortin toutin is a hocked-up, excited drunk or lout.

And he's a doctor, too?

WIll the rort make a tort and have to go to Jail?

If a wicked doctor tries anything call the Rortorooter
and put him in his place at once
