Fla. mayor says pot growing in yard was not hers

(Thanks to Kevin Meerschaert, who says, "What the Mayor couldn’t explain is why she spent the entire meeting eating potato chips.")

Depending on some weather conditions, there just might be some non-native plants growing in Wuhan, Hubei, PRC.

I don't know how they got there, either.

If you're over 80 you should be able to eat, drink and smoke whatever you want/can.

Floriduh, don't bogart the weirdness, dude.

I ran into some old men (before I became an old man) who wholeheartedly condemned pot, marijuana, maryjane, etc. Anybody who used that should be shot.
But, one mused and the rest agreed, that hemp they grew for the war effort was REALLY OK to smoke. Made you feel real good.
I'm usually really good at bursting someone's self-righteous bubble but for some reason I didn't that day.

So she got the sherrif's office to weed her yard for her?

Dude !

not her yard, or not her weed?

This is all a distraction from her campaign to install four dozen new vending machines in city hall.

I'm with Mazar Larry, provided you first take away their Florida drivers' licenses.

The Mayor was heard to quote Cheech: "I was framed!"

Don't let those little old ladies fool you. Some of them are wild.

"And them ain't my poppies, either!"

Saw her last night on local tv news. Key quote: "If I had been growing them, they would have been in much better shape."
