What I REALLY want to know from Dave-- cf. Dave Barry's Complete Guide to Guys-- is, Why are only men doing this? Owling pics show women as well so at least that's a gender-neutral kind of stupidi... um... oddity.
Not photoshopped-- look at the way the clothes (when there are enough of them) blow upward.

Perhaps inspired by the Izod ads of Izod-clothed people swimming, surfing, etc. It seems one of those ads runs almost every break during Versus coverage of the Tour de France a/k/a 2011 Tour de "Crash."
