A 52-year-old man has been jailed for failing to pick up the mess from his two Great Dane dogs.

He used what lawyers call the Volume Defense: "Each one eats over two kilos of raw meat per day, plus biscuits and other stuff – what comes out just doesn't fit in the bags the city council provides."

He deserves to be locked up in a cell lined with dog poo.
I should disclose that I have a problem with this whole concept, even where the owner picks it up. You can let them poop on your property all you want, taking them to the park to do their business, I have a problem with that.

So much for the tacos I was going to have for supper tonight.

Imagine how people feel in Congress, trying to stuff all that into small plastic bags...

Those aren't dogs, they're manure factories.

There is a bag deficit when it comes to our excremental Congress and White House.

Stewie, our small, backup dog had a thing about this huge lawn at a local funeral home. Just like a laxative for him.
But considering his size, it was like finding a single rock in the Sahara. Sometimes I didn't clean it up because it was under a leaf, I think.
But, holy moly, can that dog pee. Like pouring a beer into a swimming pool and filling it up.

I think that Dog Mess Bounty Hunters is coming soon to the Discovery Channel.

Additional note: Early in my career, I quarantined a Great Dane twice in one month. The owner had him tied to a dog house with a logging chain and used a 2 by 4 to discipline the dog.
When I went see the dog, he stood up and put his paws on my shoulder. He looked down at me with the saddest eyes. He wasn't mean, just abused.
Our County Attorney at the time believed that an animal owner had the right to beat an animal to death if he wanted.
There was nothing I could do about it.

Steve, I will help you beat the guy with a 2X4 if you want... On the other hand, this guy needs to buy some lawn bags!
