THE HEAT IS ON

What a difference a couple of decades makes.

That photo of Dave getting dunked by Grant Long, while a fine one, is not the s.b.'s favorite basketball-related photo of The Blog.
This one isn't either, though it's pretty good:

This one's the best, and if you disagree, well, you know what you can do with your opinion.

Still with the blue shirt? Sheesh.

Ah, youth. Do you miss it, Dave? I know I do. The body, though, not the stupidity.

Long career.

Are you supposed to spin a ball with that particular finger? I would definitely put that picture up if it were a poster. Right between my Bobby Sherman and David Cassidy posters.

Can't use his booger pickin' finger, cindy.

BRILLIANT photo.

Annie beat me to it, as always.

Bird, Schmird. Barry takes it to the hoop.

Does Dave give smirking lessons? He's awfully good at it.

Is it true that the woman who copy edited The Tropic died days after that was published? That's what Gene Weingarten told the University of Massachusetts Journalism Department.
