Whale tail turns into outdoor toilet

At first I thought this was a real whale tail. There is an entire ocean close to this thing. Why don't they use that?

I can remember the thrill of random vandalism, peeing in the fountain.
But I was a teenager at the time and should have been whupped. Then made to drink the fountain.

Here is a picture of the Whale Tail

At an $11 million price tag, I think some one saw an easy mark.

They could have at least gotten the whole whale for $11M.

You have to climb over a fence to piss on these.

This the the same New Haven that took peoples waterfront homes by eminent domain. If it is then, piss on them.

@Ralph: I've passed those whale tails on many a trip to Vermont, and stopped by the side of the road to take pictures of them. Never got close enough to realize that they were behind a fence, although that certainly makes sense.
