The plaintiff went into the restaurant to take advantage of its $28 all-you-can-eat sushi offer. But when the man began only eating the raw fish and leaving the rice behind, the restaurant's owner informed him that he'd have to eat the rice too, since sushi, by definition, always includes rice.

Keep the restaurant, the food, and the price. Add an asterisk after the price on the menu and the note "Some restrictions apply."
Don't be an a$$hat.
Rice makes my blood sugar go through the roof. For a while. Then it gets better.
That's why I don't gorge on rice.
(I don't eat sushi, either, but that's totally unrelated).

I had no idea there were 'sushi rules'. I don't eat sushi either.

There's a great sushi place about 10 minutes from here. In my experience sushi is either good, or toxic.

A pastor I like made a good point on Facebook: Sushi is not to be eaten. It is what is used as bait to catch real food.

The hammer will fall next on people who don't eat the crusts at all-you-can-eat pizza places.

The guy is suing for $4,000, but has offered to drop the suit if he is paid $6,000. Okay...

This had to be in California.

I had no idea there were 'sushi rules'. I don't eat sushi either.

Sushi Rules!

Well, not for me, but some like it.

*calls dibs on wanderer's pizza crust*

"All you can eat sushi" is like "unlimited" long distance calling or cell data service. There's always something fishy about it.

Hmm, all the raw fish you can eat. No thanks.

My experience is that when a corporate or commercial entity uses a phrase in advertising all you have to do to see what they really mean is add the word "not" in front of it: "Not all you can eat", "Not unlimited data", "Not all new and improved".

Good sushi, with sashimi, is awesome. We have a few good all-you-can-eat sushi places around here, but as you can imagine they ain't cheap. I try to limit myself to going once every couple months.

Just give the guy a little inartfully trimmed fugu, IYKWIM (AITYD). Problem solved.
