What's the "mauka side" of a building?
Is that where the howlies enter?

Mauka is opposite the makai side.
Mauka is toward the mountains, i.e., inland. Makai is toward the ocean.
Haoles enter wherever they can. (rimshot)
Charges were dismissed when they both showed their Florida licenses.

Wow! A new episode of Haolee Five O that practically wrote itself!
McGarrett: Were you using any drugs or taking any medications?
44 year old man: Wouldn't you like to know?
McGarrett: Book em, Dano. Book them both, and put in
in the same cell, as soon as the hospital releases them!

It's hell getting a taxi in South Beretania.

Obviously she is a lousy driver and the guy was trying to keep her from hurting herself. That's the way it is being a guy, even when we try to help the women assume we are up to no good.
