Those people in NoDak just can't cope with snow.

With the windchill at -30 deg., 99 miles away, you can see the reluctance.
Also, a lot of snowdrifts! As a matter of fact, you can't see much else....
Good day for Blogging..

Our next door neighbor moved from St. Augustine Florida to the area around Fargo because his wife wanted to be nearer their son.
He said he'd get used to the weather in a couple of months but sounded like he was trying to convince himself more than me.
He had had two knee replacements and walked with twin canes.
Last time I heard, he was an unhappy, frozen camper.
He must need a couple more months.

I hope the weather clears up. I'll be in Fargo on business in a couple of weeks.

Can't cope?
So ... why wuz I out drivin' snowplow all day yesterday? (Admittedly, we're out here in West River country, where the weather wuz a balmy ZERO much of the day, and winds of 20-30+ mph drove the chill factor down to -30 ... but ... coping? We merely use sum common sense ... sum of us ... unlike them Fargo drivers, who lack the ability to comprehend the concept of "slow down, or stay home" ...
Braniff ... stop into the store and say hi to my kids while you're in Fargo ...

I get how you don't want teenagers driving around in the snow, but you gotta admit- it seems silly to cancel a snow party because of fears of snow and partying.
