SEASIDE HEIGHTS, N.J. — Calling her "a Lindsay Lohan wannabe," a judge fined "Jersey Shore" star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi $500 on Wednesday and ordered her to perform community service after she pleaded guilty to disturbing others on a beach in July.

"...she stumbled around the beach in Seaside Heights, using loud language that disturbed other beachgoers."

Having been to Seaside Heights about a million times, I can say without fear of contradiction that she would have had to be stadium-loud just to be heard over the boom boxes.

Another poster child for Planned Parenthood.

Have I mentioned how much I hate MTV. NO, I guess it is because even when I had Cable, I didn't watch it. Didn't they play music at one time?

"Rude, profane, obnoxious and self-indulgent is not the way to live your life," the judge told Polizzi.

We saw this on the local news last night and I told my wife I'd put up the $500 if only the judge had said, "fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life."

But alas.

No comment. Anything people would say would just play into her evil scheme.
I've never seen the show. That's not a brag, I just don't care for "reality" shows.

Too bad they dropped the "criminal annoyance of others" charge. Seems tailor-made for her.

She was disturbing others? She disturbs ME and I don't even watch the show, or live in NJ thank heavens.

We need a mandatory retirement home for all these talentless "celebrities" when their moment of fame passes. Call it "The Sixteenth Minute" and have Kato Kaelin run it.

Does she have a self-destruct? That would be cool.

As a citizen of NJ, I resemble your remark.

And there ARE retirement homes for talentless celebs. They're called "Dancing with the Stars", "Celebrity Rehab", "Celebrity Apprentice", and all those other shows that scrape the bottom of the barrel to find anyone with name recognition.

Jeff, I saw this too. I would have LOVED that. He did manage to throw a few good ones her way.

wait, i thought a snook was some kind of a fish...

*squeezing eyes tight shut and plugging ears to avoid giving her any attention*

I beg to differ, Dave.

Lindsay Lohan is so steeped in skankitude that nobody could "make her look like Miss Manners." Even the "criminally annoying" Snooki.

Every once in a while I wonder why I don't have cable. Then I read a story like this...

How is giving a camel a graham cracker "community service"? Maybe she cleaned out a few cages but I'm sure it was nothing too bad. It sounds like they sent her to the zoo for the day. They should let her clean up the beach where she was so obnoxious. Maybe a day of picking up trash that other thoughtless louts had thrown down would give her a chance to think. I've never watched this show either and wouldn't know her if she walked through my front yard. I'd like to keep it that way.

Too bad he didn't prevent her from being on the show. Would'a made many people happy.

Good idea, cindy. Every weekend in Prospect Park they've been having these "picnics" and slobs leave garbage all over the place. Have her pick it up.

Maybe a day of picking up trash

cindy, I'm sure picking up trash on the beach would be right up her alley. Usually she's on the receiving end, though.

Did you see that YouTube of the bull in the bullfight crowd? Why does Snookie remind me of that?

You have the right to free speech unless I don't like what you say.

Kato who?

Personally I yearn for the days when the misdeeds of an actress (well, "Parent Trap" was cute) were swept under the rug, and people like Snooki were simply not on the media radar because, no offense, nobody would have cared.

The mystery to me about reality TV: where in this country is there such a shortage of obnoxious, foul-mouthed, backstabbing narcissists that anyone has to turn on the TV to get their daily fill?
