Not to put too fine a point on it but do these birds understand the alternative to not laying eggs?

Key insightful quote: “Chickens are very dumb at night”...

Someone skipped chicken class when the topic of the day was Moving your Birds.

Here's another dumb cluck in the news from Niceville.

Sunny-side down.

Give it up for The Stressed Chickens!!

“Chickens are very dumb at night," OK, someone has to ask. As opposed to what? The solve quadratic equations for lunch?

Add a "y" to "The", above. Boy, do I feel dumb.

Have you moved recently, Steve? Maybe you're (not your) stressed. I agree though chickens generally are not the brightest birds on the farm day or night. If they were there would be no such thing as KFC, Bojangles, or Chick-Fil-A. Fog Horn Leg Horn was pretty smart though.

And now she has to worry about those chickens coming home to roost.

Eggless.

I have eggs. But they're rapidly becoming raisins.

Game ova!

My idiot neighbor has just installed a rooster to liven up the henhouse. If it wakes me up again, I'm making coq au vin from scratch.

NC, I LOVED Fog Horn. He was one cool rooster. Kind of cocky, though.
The "beloved by mosquitoes" was from another post and I was too unobservant to change it quickly. Maybe that's why the mosquitoes catch me so often.
