The church's big mistake was taking on a group of people who make their living turning the other cheek.

Or maybe they're all in church praying for these two, nursecindy.

As far as I am concerned, this church can take a flying leap.
I believe I've mentioned the church about 200 feet from my house that broadcast loud church music from four speakers on the roof. Sometimes, this lasted ALL DAY on Sunday except for service time. Then, they shut it off so they could hear themselves think.
I finally won the argument just before my last resort; playing Sympathy for the Devil by the Rolling Stones on a boom box through their window during the service.

"As a Christian community, we cannot share territory with the devil," Dunfee said. "Light and darkness cannot exist together"
Am I the only one who immediately thought about how that would read if you substituted "Muslim" for "Christian"?
All fundamentalism is just plain scary.

Both patrons give money in return for services. What's the difference?

A church isn't a sanctuary for saints, its a hospital for sinners.

Well said Tamara.

What that minister is protesting is singles that arent' making it into his collection plate.

So then according to Tamara's theory, and she's not the first I've heard it from, the church should be thankful. Their membership roster and collection plates are being augmented.

Methinks that's not the only augmentation going on in this story.
