*SNORK!*@ "spokesman Gunter Babler"

(I know, I know.... blog policy violation)

Sounds like their ship is sunk, so are the days for organiser Bhend over? Or has he just been given a stern warning?

More unsinkable than the original.

Perhaps a Yellow Submarine would be more appropriate.

It would be offensive if they only looped that damn Celine Dion song, "My Heart Will Go On."

It looks more like Queen Elizabeth. No, not the boat.

(I've actually slid on one of these - quite fun. Brits should unclench a bit, eh, whut.)

Where's the bouncy icebergs??

-s

It's situated right next to the Holocaust Hall Of Mirrors. I say, bad form, Brits. Some things need to remain in history.

Hmmm, "bouncy graveyard." Not a bad idea . . .

"Yes, but BESIDES that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?"

Too soon?

My ex had bouncy icebergs, come to think of it . . .

No doubt it will be hired for the eventual wedding reception of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

No worse than this

So ... merely becuz it "happened a long time ago, and feelings ... have been dealt with ... " ... we're s'posed to think it's NBD that people are taking a tragedy in history and makin' it into a "fun" thing, and that's all right?

Heck ... I wuz borned a LONG time ago (not quite that long ago, tho, in relation to the Titanic) ... and the world still hasta deal with the fact that I'm still around and influencin' events and stuff ...

Merely becuz sumthin' is old doesn't mean it should be converted into sumthin' ridiculous ... well, mebbe in an individual case it'd be OK ... my kids ridicule me all the time ...

Side headline on page: Woman exposes breasts for peace... blah blah

"Bouncy" Titanic goes down badly

...which is why she'll have to stick to stripping

They actually had one of those at the Peach Festival in Ruston, La. last week-end. The kids loved it.

All I come come up with is a variation on a song by Paul Simon:

Ship Slidin' Away....
