It's a shame that private charities had to step in because of the so-called "United Nations"' inaction.

Where's the Chalupa???

Emergency Chihuahua Airlift opened for Los Lobos, I believe.

Experts say pop culture is to blame for the overpopulation of the dogs in California, with fans imitating Chihuahua-toting celebrities like Paris Hilton.

I guess we should have known she's to blame.

Also, I think this guy is a victim of Insufficient Chihuahuas.

Yo quiero nueva jor!

There's a shortage in NY so CA sent them 12 dogs.

Couldn't have been much of a shortage ... of short dogs.

Yo quiero idiots people who are willing to spend ridiculous amounts of money on dogs.

They sent some to New Hampshire first. It's ice fishing season here, and good bait is hard to find.

*is suprised there is a demand for Chihuahuas anywhere*

Picture caption: "Paris Hilton and her chihuahua: blamed for sparking Californian chihuahua overpopulation."

Gross. Glad there are no pictures of that....

Solution: Take 50,000 of the Burmese pythons from FL. to CA ...ergo problem solved.

It's scary if people are really imitating Paris Hilton in any way whatsoever.

When I've visited the Humane Society, a lot of the dogs have been Labs. They're sweet dogs, but I think sometimes people don't know how energetic they are.
