If the chimps were that smart they would go after the people setting the fires.

lol, nc, -- with their kung fu skills

Still allowed drugs? I had three days. After that things were pretty tough.

"Still, chimpanzees in a zoo in South Africa were seen lighting and extinguishing cigarettes without getting burned."

Subsequent observations have determined that the same chimps also communicated a rudimentary version of "Hold my beer and watch this."

We underestimate animals.
My family had a jumping spider (Count Dracula. Because he bit his victims and sucked their blood) that lived in our kitchen window one summer. He showed no fear. Every morning he would come out to greet me. When I put my finger up to the window ledge, he would jump over and tap it twice, then go about his business. I believe he was saying, "Mornin', Steve." Friendly critter.
My kids cried when he disappeared one day.

This explains the ending to "THE PLANET OF THE APES" II.

Steve, you should check out Patrick McManus' book "The Blight Way". It has a similar theme :)

Speaking of health care, why can't they go after frivolous lawsuits? That should drop the cost of health care by quite a bit. I wonder what percentage of Congresspeople are lawyers.

Nice post, thanks for sharing this wonderful and useful information with us.
