We already put a Christmas Blog Wish in the previous thread, but we'll do it again.
We hope all are warm, safe, well-fed, and sharing the holiday with those near and dear...

crossgirl and I are off to church, in a few. I will be the one kicking and screaming. Still, she likes to surround herself with other voices when singing carols, and that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Just kidding, Dear!
*ow,ow,ow*
Merry Christmas!

And those of us who irrationally consider ourselves sane will just have to scrape by with a Hippy (or Hoppy) New Year. Dave's penmanship is improving.

Who are these crazy people of whom Dave speaks?
Merry Christmas, everyone!

Just watched "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer.' It's much better when you turn off the sound and let two tween boys dub the words. Now they're playing cards with the nutcrackers, because, as one son says, they have "excellent poker faces."
In a few minutes I'm heading out front to help untack Maggie the Percheron. She's busy pulling a carriage full of people around the neighborhood so they can enjoy the Christmas lights.
It's a Cali kind of Christmas. Merry merry!

Merry Christmas, Blog, Stealth Blogerette, and Blogits!
All here have had a happy Christmas. My daughter found her lost iPod frozen in a melting snowbank. We are thawing it out tonight and hoping for the best. Mr R is happily feeding the squirrels again, I got a snuggly (not Snuggie) sweater, and my other daughter got a camera, although she really wanted a one-eyed cat from the local shelter. My nieces and nephews are enjoying their Texas snow, and we're off to see Sherlock Holmes tomorrow because we all have the day off at -- what do you know -- the SAME TIME!
God bless us, everyone.
Posted by: Cat R | December 26, 2009 at 02:11 AM
Cat - put the ipod in a container of dry uncooked rice for a couple of days. The rice will draw out any moisture that seeped through the casing.
Lots o'joy and turkey yesterday - feeling like I want a pizza today.
Posted by: Guin | December 26, 2009 at 07:15 AM
Guin - that's the first thing I did. It's drying out now. I learned that trick AFTER frying a camera that was rescued from a toilet.
Posted by: Cat R | December 26, 2009 at 11:36 AM
Cat, if that doesn't work, you can go ahead and cook it with the rice and have some aros con poddo.
