Declined to press charges... next thing you know, she'll be robbed by orangutans and gorillas.

I agree Doug. She'll be known in the ape circle as an easy mark.

The story didn't mention that she also knows that if the monkey keeps it up it will very soon be a meal for one of Richardson's coyote packs.

KJP, the concrete statues they stole are for coyote protection.

What is even more humorous, a policeman stopped an organ grinder nearby at the time and asked him, "Do you have a license for your minkey?"

Anyone who watched The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency would have had the answer right away.

One of my favorite Tom Robbins novels, "Half-Asleep in Frog Pajamas", featured a felonious ape.

"Felonious Ape" WBAGNFARB.

The Creeping Man returns and steals plants. Elementary Watson.
