The hearse driver for a Bogota funeral home stopped for a beer and failed to deliver a body to the cemetery while the family waited, police said.

A hearse pulled up to a bar. The bartender looked in the back and asked, "Why the long case?"

Bernie had to buy the beer.

I think I saw Drunk Driver & the Dead Bogatanians open for Whitsnake.

*stoopid not-yet-caffeinated fingers*

Last call at the bar.

This week, a church in Indiana bought a former funeral home at a tax sale. When they took possession, they found four bodies that had been left behind when the owner lost his license a couple of years ago.

There is probably a "reducing headcount" joke that I'll think of when I have more coffee.

Police said Vasquez's body was found in the hearse in the parking lot of a motel in Bogota's San Bernardo neighborhood, the newspaper reported.

The driver was in room 7 with two hookers and a bottle of tequila.

i hope that when i die, everyone in the procession pulls through the driveup liquor window then continues in a conga line to the cemetary.

Was Vasquez behind the wheel?

Obviously the driver needed a stiff drink.

LOL @ CJ and cg!

I'm with ya, girl!

It was his first day on the job and he misunderstood that in that business "stop and pick up a cold one" means something completely different.

It was just common courtesy. If you give a guy a ride, he buys you a drink.

It's not like Vasquez was in a hurry to go anywhere. What's the fuss? I've tried to tell my kids what I want done when I die but they just say they don't want to talk about it and say I'm gruesome. I told them I want a nice Mass Of The Dead and then a party for everybody else afterwards. With a band and everything. I can usually ask them for any favor for a couple of weeks after I tell them this. Then the guilt wears off.
