One of a pair of thieving squirrels hangs on to a tree trunk on Thursday afternoon at Mount Hope Cemetery in Port Huron looking as if it might say, "I didn't do it."

Yeah, right.

GNFARB:

Thieving Cemetery Squirrels
Rogue Rodents

The nest, which is about 45 feet up a spruce tree, can be seen by an observant cemetery visitor as red, white and blue cloth drapes over branches.

...and the home of the brave.

As Richard Nixon said in a similar situation, "We could shoot the squirrels, but that would be wrong."

As Granny Clampett said, "Squirrels are good eating."

I think squirrels are getting smarter. It's like a version of 'Caddyshack' around my house lately. I plant flowers, they dig them up. They're particularly fond of petunias.

Verb 1. squirrel away: to save up as for future use...

Just what are these 'Varmint Cong' planning?

Well at least they had respect enough to wait after Mass to do their vandalizing.

So many flags ... so little time ...

shoot em!

Left-wing, hippie squirrels.

Or, even worse, Red squirrels.

"A squirrel -- weighing about 3 pounds...."
No wonder they're causing problems -- 1 1/2 lbs. is a large Grey Squirrel. These must be some of those bloated superpatriots.

My thought exactly, Ralph. What kind of stuffing do you use for squirrel?
