"We are the whoopee cushion of the parade," declared Ranger veteran Tom Bruno, a member of the Champaign City Council.

We march with you in spirit, Dave.

What? Something's happening today? I hadn't heard.

Didn't we blog this once, and who's that guy behind the One helping him hold up the plunger in this pre-glistening-pec-era photo?

Good morning!

judi, do we know when Dave and the Rangers will be parading today?? Hopefully it will be televised for posterity or posteriority ...I forget which.

I'd like to join you guys, but they got me in this damn wheelchair...

See how happy people are when they have jobs they understand?

I'm just glad that the nation is being kept safe from the folks in Lake Bluff, Illinois.

Cough, losers, cough

That plunger will come in handy for the economy.

Margaritaville,-----The economy has already gone down the toilet,we nedd a cucka sucka trucka to get it back.

Siouxie, This link doesn't exactly answer your question, but it shows where in the parade order the Rangers fall. I'm also looking forward to the Get a Life Marching Band, near the end. If Dave oversleeps, he may have to fall in with the Mobile Azalea Trail Maids.

Completely off-topic, but if we, the Barry Blog Readers, created an artificial intelligence, it would Take Over The World MUAHAHAHA! probably do this: http://wpcomics.washingtonpost.com/feature/09/01/20/tmrkt090120.gif

Haha, WD.

Thanks, Danny.

WAITAMINIT!!! The "Get a Life Marching Band" is there without US???

wiredog's linky

*snork* @ Siouxie!

What I would like to know is how come Barack Obama was sworn in as president when his father was not a citizen of the United States. According to the Constitution it states that both parents have to be citizens. Why aren't we going by the Constitution??? We should take the Constituton and wipe our a-- with it for all the good it has done. Why write it if we arenot going to abide by it. I am very upset as I know I am not alone on this issue. Men and women died for our Constitution and we are going to let this one amendment slip by because he is black. Thats not right and I would like my voice heard. I am not against a black president but I feel if the Constitution states that both parens be citizens then it should stand on that. Barack was born in Kenyon not the United States. If we don't abide by the Constitution who else might run for president???? I know you won't respond to me but I had to get this off my chest. Thank you
Barbara Nocian

Warning: Krispy Kreme is out to brainwash you with a free doughnut today! You've been warned.

Deep breath, Barbara. The president was born in Hawaii after it became a state. He is a "natural born citizen" and over 35 and, therefore, elegible. The constitution does not say anything about his parents (I just checked).

JEC - not gonna happen!

Barb - in case you missed it, this is a blog written by a humo(u)r columnist.

*opens the blogbar and mixes a blogarita for Barb*
