Gee, there's no chance that someone could have captured the squirrel and dyed it themselves to freak people out. No way that would happen these days.

Kitten R the Younger bought her dad a squirrel feeder for Christmas. So this ought to increase our personal squirrel population from one trillion to approximately one zillion in our front yard.
You can thank her, because that means there will be fewer in your front yard.
The feeder is designed to hold peanuts or other munchables. After reading this article, I'm tempted to dye the peanuts and see if we can change the color of the squirrels around here.
