And, cool. I seem to be first with an invisible post. I hope there's a treatment for that.

Blog ate my post?
Posted by: Suzy Q | October 24, 2008 at 08:31 AM
The posts are there, Sio. You have to squint past the fashion platter.

Mebbe it's an ad for this movie . . .

GROOVE-Y!
It's a record-breaking fashion design!
Okay....I'll stop. But why the smiley face in the middle of the record? It's in sharp contrast to the grimace on her face.

How to turn a fashion model into something useful in three easy steps...
1. remove extraneous brainage
2. insert turntable and vinyl platter...
3. there is no 3.

There is no three... except maybe in getting 'botfocked.

dwv: There are two Susies on this blog; Siouxie, Queen of the Blog, and me, a lower serf.

Someday fashion models will join the dogs and cats, rise up and kill us all.

Suz, I'll again be wearing the crown that you bestowed upon me ..this weekend.
*waves @ her blog peeps*

WTF is wrong with the bot this morning?? Constipated?
Posted by: Siouxie | October 24, 2008 at 09:54 AM
I just talked to the bot and asked how it was doing. It replied "HURRRGHH. URRGH. ARRGH!" So I suspect that Siouxie is, as usual, correct.

Isn't that Tanya Harding?!
Well, we know she has a record, but this is ridiculous!

I remember Grace Jones wore a record on her head back in the '70's - I think it was on the Merv Griffin show of all things!
Posted by: biggin | October 24, 2008 at 11:28 AM
And you thought the LP was obsolete...
Posted by: Steve Haller | October 24, 2008 at 11:33 AM
Oh Suzy Q -- Terribly sorry! I'm well aware that you're not
BansheeMachetethe other Siouxie. I have no excuse besides being distracted, trying to keep my $3000 MacBook Pro safe en el baño.Posted by: danceswithvowels | October 24, 2008 at 12:34 PM
isn't that a still from "shawn of the dead?"
Posted by: mudstuffin | October 24, 2008 at 02:12 PM
no wonder she looks so pained, poor thing slipped a disc.
Posted by: crossgirl | October 24, 2008 at 02:36 PM
under things that don't need to be said:
most models just need to be fed
and for sure a migraine'll
result when a vinyl
record is glued to your head!
Posted by: insomniac | October 24, 2008 at 02:53 PM
Well, what other use is there for records? Now just crank out cassette-tape wallets and VHS handbags.
Posted by: Merri Lee | October 24, 2008 at 03:31 PM
I'll bet her head is spinning
Posted by: Jazzzz | October 24, 2008 at 07:24 PM
She looks as if she is thinking.... I have worked my entire life to be a fashion model, and this is where it has brought me.....please kill me.

I've been able to blog about twice in the last month, and I get bot-fokked.
Posted by: Jazzzz | October 24, 2008 at 07:57 PM
That was Bette Midler who wore a 45 on her head at the Grammies. Has everyone lost their minds or just this designer who thinks he thought of it first. Have a happy day!

"el bano" is not an excuse, dwv. Now, if it were El Nino...
Posted by: Suzy Q | October 25, 2008 at 12:49 AM
If memory serves me correctly that's a 33 on a turd.
*waits patiently at the geezer bus stop*
Posted by: Layzeeboy | October 26, 2008 at 09:49 PM
Clearly the recording is of "Don't Worry, Be Happy."
