It certainly affects my short term success...........but has nothing to do with my finances

I tend to sell prematurely.

"Coates and Herbert's study comes less than two weeks after U.S. researchers reported that young men shown erotic pictures were more likely to make a larger financial gamble than if they were shown a picture of something scary, such as a snake, or something neutral, such as a stapler."

Neutral? Nothing neutral about my stapler.

Hmm... It's the "show off" hormone and it applies to anything preceding the words "Hey, hold my beer and watch this."

Hehehe. Dave said "brief."

They say that testosterone is only ONE of the factors driving the stock market?

So, there may be others?

Pad - also greed (which may have its testosterone component, of course)

"But what seems to start out well can turn bad, with elevated testosterone levels over several days possibly leading to irrational risk-taking..."

There, in about 23 short words, is a summary of my entire life.

So this article proves that men should basically be responsible for doing absolutely nothing that might impact society as a whole.

Alien: I've been saying this for years, but no one listens to me. I would be happy to sit in a corner all day playing with my belly button, but someone has to earn some money to feed the mouths at home. And somehow, in direct contradiction of this research, that someone turns out to be me.

Scott, life is so cruel sometimes.

Wow, nice portfolio. Do you diversify here often?

Hmmm...I'll show you MY assets, if you show me yours, big boy!

Gasp! You said "brief."
