As a FORMER high school science teacher in the state of Texas, I can honestly say I'm not surprised.

If they'll harass you into passing the star football player... the TAKS test is NOTHING...

"Will we still get tenure?"

**Ok, off my soapbox** HOP!

"After he threatened to kill us, he said, 'You don't know how ruthless I can be.'"

The teachers responded, "We work with 8th graders. Do you honestly think you can do anything we haven't already seen? And bringing a gun to school is so 19990's! Sheesh!"

No evidence left behind.

I think a wombat needs to get rough with that principal.

From what I hear, the nuns are a lot worse ...

Nuns vs. wombats - mudwrestling school fundraiser. Problem solved.

Help! Dead link!

Good to go, Merri.

Thanks Meanie!

Well, this is just a good old-fashioned Texas pep talk. What's the big deal?

Steve, they could be brutal, but didn't deal too much in threats. Immediate consequences was more like it. THWACK!

i tipped the blog over. :-(

hope that fixes it. That's what I get for trying to do HTML code from memory.

Oh, that's all?

(Former 7th-8th grade science teacher in Texas)

My tiredfox refuses to let me see the story; could/would someone provide a synopsis?
