My daughter leaves Jan 14 to spend a year studying in Beijing. How comforting to know that half way around the world she'll be right at home.

I remember during the 96 Olympics here in Atlanta when the wife of the very appropriately named IOC VP Dick Pound got into a drunken brawl with an Atlanta policewoman.
