Well, the whales started it . . .

What kind of person would put cat faces in the toilet anyway?? Cats are sweet...oh. Faeces. Never mind.

... well, so much for the Navy Sonar scare.

Since when do toilets get flushed directly into the ocean? How many condoms or tampons and goldfish and illegal drugs were found in the whales? And people poop ? I'm sure that's great for the whales.

Supposedly this is killing otters in California too. Something to do with a bug in cat poop that isn't filtered out by our sewage systems. Sorry I don't have any humor for this one. If it was anything but them cute li'l frisky otters...

As Bucky the Cat might say, it's good that they're killing off whales. Need to keep them in their place. Otherwise, next thing you know the whales are demanding that we do their laundry or something.

Well, we obviously have no choice but to kill every cat immediately.

The bug is passed from mammal to mammal through the food chain? Then I think they're overlooking another possibility, that whales and porpoises and even otters are sneaking in to our homes and devouring cats. This problem is woefully under reported. I mean.. I know whales just eat cats, but they're huge. They could eat humans... so no one says anything. Who wants a whale mad at them?
Someone should look into this. It could be a threat to all of humanity.

In California, you can't buy flushable kitty litter any more. It's illegal.
Flush a cat turd, go to jail?

I think the problem's more direct than they think.
