The Duct Tape Bandit!
Posted by: Siouxie | August 14, 2007 at 03:09 PM
i would have paid really good money to be the one to slowly pull that tape off of him. and, of course, to pour gasoline all over him to remove the residue.

Sio, if you missed it, you need to watch the video in the link.
Posted by: CJrun | August 14, 2007 at 03:34 PM
Is this deja vu all over again? Wasn't I just discussing duct tape somewhere with someone?
Posted by: Eleanor | August 14, 2007 at 03:42 PM
CJ, I had missed the video. Didn't realize it showed the brilliant disguise.
El, certainly not me. ;-P

ArcticAl, if you're gonna run down the Commonwealth of Kentucky, at least spell it correctly....
Posted by: Bill Hudgins | August 14, 2007 at 04:13 PM
El...yes.
Yes, you were.
Posted by: blurk | August 14, 2007 at 04:35 PM
OK...so we have a guy in Kentucky who doesn't remember wrapping his head in duct tape OR having it pulled off. And another guy in Japan who didn't notice his leg being sheared off below the knee.
I'm pretty sure there's a feel-good/one-world-ish interpretation here, but I'm scared to think about it.
Posted by: Betsy | August 14, 2007 at 04:40 PM
El - no, no - we were not.

Show me a man who doesn't remember duct tape being removed from his head, and I'll show you a man who was one of:
1) unconscious
2) bald
3) totally lacking in skull nerve endings
Posted by: Richard the Weasel-Hearted | August 14, 2007 at 07:03 PM
or
4) high on something

I must have missed that Red Green episode...
P.S. I hope the dude had a full head of hair, beard and mustache when they ripped it off of him.
