Why eat meat anyway in Amsterdam when you can go to any coffee shop and buy a large hash cookie? ;)

A casserole!

CJ, that was highly uncalled for.

Two things:
1) El! Where?!? Um... not that I'm interested, of course.
2) Come on, people. Maggots clean the rotting flesh away from the fresh stuff. Just rinse 'em off, cook up the meat (not the maggots), and eat it. Those bait maggots (called "Silver Wigglers" in Iowa so they don't gross anyone out (not that fishermen are grossed out by things like that)) are raised in a pretty clean environment so they don't smell bad.

If you say so, Scott, but I think you've already been smoking something this morning - ick!
And in answer to your question, on every block there's a "coffee shop" and the sign out front has a big mariju@ana leaf on it. They have a little menu of the different types you can buy, and smoke there, or you can buy a "cookie" and eat it while walking to the Van Gogh Museum - so I've been told. ;)

Morning, Eleanor. How's your recovery going?
I have never been too keen on smoke but ruining good brownies or cookies with the taste of that stuff isn't great, either.
On principle, I might eat that meat but given the choice....

Thanks for asking, Scott. Yesterday was the first day I went without pain medication, so I seem to be well down the road to recovery. :)
How's everything with you?
