So they were 'driving while in pairs?' Can't wait to see the police report on this one. AND the defense atty's argument.

This is illegal in Wisconsin? Talk about your creeping fascism!

They better plead guilty -- I don't think they have a leg to stand on.

Well, not the driver at any rate.
Something similar - without the "no legs" part - happened to a cousin of mine, in Florida (go figure!). Her friend was too drunk to drive and she didn't have a license but drove very slowly. When the cops pulled her over she told the friend to quickly switch seats but the latter was too drunk to move, so when the cop approached the car he saw no one behind the wheel and two women on each other's laps in the passenger seat!

In the end he asked her for a date instead of giving her a ticket so she was bold enough to ask why he'd pulled her over, as she felt she'd been driving pretty well.
"You didn't have your lights on."

I didn't hear about the third drunk man in the back seat who walked himself home! So the other two were so freaking $h!tfaced, they decided to let the legless man give it a go?

This is the greatest story ever.
The legless guy had TWO previous drunk driving charges!
Hahahaha! How??
A third drunk man in the vehicle walked himself home after the incident.
Good move!

Miller admitted he was too drunk to drive but argued he wasn't operating the vehicle because he couldn't push the pedals.
This logic is flawless. And by flawless, I mean absent.

drunk n stupit strikes again. sometimes i think that prohibition wasnt such a bad idea. but then, we wouldnt have these morons to laugh at. i guess the po-leece need a laugh too. i tell ya, jail for morons is essential. they dont need to be in a place with killers and such, they need to be in one gigantic facility, loaded with drunken morons. what's montana doing? there must be some room there.

"A third drunk man in the vehicle walked himself home after the incident."
That was the mayor of Marshfield. The other two guys were his chauffeur.
