Backatcha Dave;)

What a wonderful reminder of what and who this season is about..The children, and the child in all of us.If we could see it through thier eyes we would remember how mysterious and beautiful and full of hope this time of year is... Thanks Dave and Judi, and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to You !

You too, Dave. You and judi make my days brighter all the time. Happy holidays.

Thanks, Dave, and hugs to Sophie....this is what it's all about. And I still love the heart. :)

Yeah, Dave ... me too ... what they said ...

It's the kids.

And the kid in all of us, to want a happier time ... tnx4 all that ...

MC/HNY and whatever else ...

(Hug that little critter for me, willya? I'm not gonna see my grandkids this trip, so a proxy by proxy will hafta do ...)

Merry Christmas
The card says everything I would want to say.

Sophie's got it right: Joy isn't linear...you just have to let it spill over and fill all the available spaces.

Happy holidays of every variety, and a wonderful New Year to all!

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

And Happy Chanukah to El!

Who couldn't have joy with a wish like that?

May all your celebrations be happy and safe..

K

We hope Santa brings everything Sophie wants. Dave obviously already has everything he wants. ;)

Please tell Sophie that she wrote it big enough for all the world to have some.

A very merry to all. I must have been very good this year to rate such good web-friends...except for that anti-spam robot...I don't know what I did to deserve that. ;)

Cheers to all. Happy holiday/chag sameach.

Aw, Betsy on the Sophie made me tear up.

I am such a suck.

Have a happy day everybody. Doesn't matter what or if you celebrate, you can never get too many of those :)

Merry Christmas from the insane asylum that is my parents' house.

An hour from now, (God, please let it be at least an hour), my daughter will wake up and it will all have been worth it.

Have Joy everyone.

and happy-merry, and gut yomtov to all, may the peace that we all search for be realized soon. bless you all, and to all my fellow bloggies, thanks for making my days more joyful through all the laughter.

Is that blood or fecal matter? Oh well, it's the thought that counts. I hope Dad buys you some Crayons this year, Sophie.

A Walrus Johnson in my stocking! Oh no, not again.
Thanks for the laugh lines people. Merry Christmas!

Happy Everything! Thanks to Dave and Judi for giving joy everyday! Awwwww.....

Xtra big OOSIK Ho's to you, Dave..
THANKS!!

Over on your acronyms page you got an extra 'B' in the first one! Maybe "Extra B" WBAGNFARB... Either way Merry Christmas.

*stands behind podium*

FIRST of all, let me wish a very Merry Christmas to Dave and his family and judi and her family with a big thanks for all the joy that you've brought into my life!

SECOND, a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a Happy Hanukkah to all the great, funny, witty, silly blogits!

Thanks Bumble :)

*zips out to robot*

Oooh! I got Peter and the Starcatchers! Yay!

southerngirl~ Read The Fairy Rebel yet? Also, did you get my e-mail? I think I sent it to the wrong address.

El..

I saw the Muppet Christmas movie on sale at The Warehouse this week. I almost but not quite bought it. Maybe next year.

El -

Tnx muchly, and the same back to you ... be happy ...

and ... to the rest of y'all, once again ...

Happy Holidays to everyone, and let's all hope the new year is brighter and saner than the one that just passed.

Wishing Christmas blessings to Sophie and everyone else!

And Kafaleni, if it's the "Muppet Christmas Carol" you meant, get back there and buy it pronto. Fantastic movie, and it'll probably be even cheaper after Christmas! :-)

Happy Hanukkah, El!

Bumble, I did get an e-m, yesterday I think. I haven't read The Fairy Rebel yet(no time) but my daughter did, and loved it.

Lmd33 ~ you meant saner in the real world, right? I know you didn't mean on the blog! :)

Dave, Sophie has to be one of the cutest and smartest 5 year olds that I have seen in awhile.
Merry Christmas,
Theresa

Do you have this "Joy's" number, or last name? I would not mind having her, but just a first name is a tough clue to go by.

Thanks, southerngirl - so far it's a good one!

And I hope your Christmas is too - pecan pie???? :)

El -

Caramel Apple Cheesecake @ our house ... just sayin' ...

Caramel Apple Cheesecake....oooh, yum...

*mouth watering from thoughts of caramel, or cheesecake*

El, my grandmother used to make the best homemade pecan pies, from pecans grown on their own pecan trees. Boy, do I miss that. Any other way, it just isn't the same!

U.O~ We have a caramel apple cheesecake in our fridge, too. Was yours pushed on you by an overbearing sample man at an Oregon grocery store?

southerngirl~ My mom makes a fabulous pecan pie. I think I'm going to have to add cooking lessons from her to my list of classes for next semester. So far the only things I can make (well) are potato soup, Italian chicken and various cookies (particularly Spritz, peanut butter and cocoa kisses). I'm going to have to get someone else to teach me about peanut butter pie though. I love it, and mom doesn't make it.

Have Joy -- clearly, Sophie gets it. A message that the religious of all stripes and the non-religious can all work with. Treasure her, Dave, treasure her and hope she keeps that light in her heart shining for the rest of her days.

And while we're at it, to all celebrants of the season:

Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Festivus, Happy Solstice, and a Happy Holiday to all whom I've left out.

Have Joy - we can do that much, can't we?

Blue~ Who're you kidding? You're no meanie. ;-)

Nope, home-grown apples, homemade cheesecake by My Bride (Remember Her?) and ... well, that's enuf, eh?

r.e. the peanut butter pie: Long ago, when I useta be a sports writer and photographer, I had one school that when they had a home game, a friend would tell the ladies in the lunchroom to save me some p.b. pie, 'cuz he knew I'd always be there, and he knew if he din't tell them to save me one, it'd be all gone before I got there ... and ... there were several ladies who made it, all of them had a different version, so always a variety of choices/taste sensations ... and yeah, always good ...

Grrowwwllll!! Shrieeek! Grrrrr!! Snaaarrrrlll!!!....

er....ummmm...

purrrr...*nuzzle*.....purrrrrr...*lick*

*sigh*
found out again....(Cheers to you, Bumble!)

U.O~ Tasty good. You're making me hungry. Now I'm going to have to google recipes and do some post-holiday baking tomorrow. Meanwhile I'm watching Die Hard for the very first time. Alan Rickman is tasty good, too.

You too Blue. :-)

First time?

You have led a somewhat sheltered life ... my kids watched 'em all, from the start (or at least from video release) ... they're still fun, from time to time ...

Great card! Merry belated Christmas (I was with my family instead of on the computer--good tradeoff, methinks) to Dave, Judi, their families and the rest of the commenters.

U.O~ I was quite young when it came out, and nobody in my family cared to introduce it to me. My brother-in-law realized this grievous error in my upbringing tonight, and it has been rectified. "Yippee-ki-yay Mother F*&#@r!"

Merry Christmas from down under!

Merry Christmas and Happy Hankkah to all!

(I finally got access to my office and computer in the guest bedrooom as the out-laws are out!)

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of you from germany.
Sorry, I`m a bit late %-)

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good laugh.
Thanks to Dave for sharing his little joy with us all.

I was a bit under the weather on Christmas eve and busy with the family on Christmas, so I'm a day late in wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.

I only just now realized what was missing from my Christmas this year. This was the first Christmas in some time without a new Dave Barry book under the tree!
