Not too pervie for me... for the blog. You can stop patting now.
Posted by: CoastRaven | July 27, 2006 at 03:40 PM
*doesn't stop patting*
Why would I want to do that???
Posted by: sharon share-alike | July 27, 2006 at 03:48 PM
Chewing moth balls? WTFBBQ?! Didn't realize they had 'em. Icky is right, Sarah.
Posted by: Jeff Meyerson | July 27, 2006 at 04:18 PM
Sounds about as intelligent as this guy.
Posted by: Alfred | July 27, 2006 at 04:39 PM
How ridiculous is this?
Posted by: Sarah J | July 27, 2006 at 07:07 PM
Does anyone know of any reason why a YIM would just not be able to sign in even though all the other internet applications on a PC are functioning normally?
Posted by: Bumble | July 27, 2006 at 07:55 PM
yesah thats pretty odd.
Posted by: Alfred | July 27, 2006 at 07:55 PM
Problem solved. Restarted the program. Silly machines.

*eagerly awaits strumpeting report from Sharon and sly*
Posted by: KDF | July 27, 2006 at 09:24 PM
*eagerly awaits strumpeting report*?
Does this make me a pimp?
Posted by: KDF | July 27, 2006 at 09:25 PM
KDF, like my grampa bill always used to say:
yer only as pimp as you feel
er, somethin like that
Posted by: TCK | July 27, 2006 at 09:28 PM
Well, I'm wearing purple, so what does that mean?
Posted by: KDF | July 27, 2006 at 09:33 PM
does said purple attire involve glitter of any kind? how about fur trim?
more importantly, is it cut really short, so as to show off lots of thigh?
(OK, the last question isn't really relevant - i was just wonderin)
Posted by: TCK | July 27, 2006 at 09:37 PM
Oh, Tiddlywink. Isn't it more fun just to wonder?
*air smooch*
*hairflip, with glitter chaser*
Posted by: KDF | July 27, 2006 at 09:39 PM
um...no
actually it's more fun to have pictures
excellent hairflip tho - the glitter was a nice touch :)
Posted by: TCK | July 27, 2006 at 09:43 PM
Speaking of pictures, I got back mine from Dayton. Most of them are pretty good. I'll scan them and send them to the proper authorities (yahoo! groups: kilties) when I have time.
Posted by: Bumble | July 27, 2006 at 09:50 PM
Found it!
Hah!
Another interestin' day ... parts of which might be OK for posting, but the only significant item item which might be understood is the fact that I went on OT @ 0900 MDT today ... so ... besides gettin' somethin' done (werk), I actually made some decent dollars today ... and ... to quote whatshername ... "Tomorrow is another day ..."
Hugely tired tho, and the wireless doesn't reach my "new" room, so I gotta be in the lobby to go online, so ... later, Kilties ...
Posted by: O. the U(manity) | July 27, 2006 at 09:54 PM
Typhoon - how silly of me! Man. Visual. Want pictures.
Oops, sorry. Scanner's not workin'. ;)
Bumble! Can't wait to see the pictures of your Dave & Ridley extravaganza.
Posted by: KDF | July 27, 2006 at 09:55 PM
of course the scanner's not workin!
*sigh*
story of my life
oh well - at least i ain't workin overtime
Posted by: TCK | July 27, 2006 at 10:04 PM
Scanner not working? You mean it stopped after the pictures I got? Bummer.
Posted by: Meanie the Blue | July 27, 2006 at 10:18 PM
sure blue - rub it in
Posted by: TCK | July 27, 2006 at 10:31 PM
does said purple attire involve glitter of any kind? how about fur trim?
Posted by: TCK | 09:37 PM on July 27, 2006
All right, ya got me. Fresh from the scanner.
Posted by: KDF | July 27, 2006 at 10:32 PM
ah, a furry purple teddy - not the kind of furry purple teddy i woulda preferred, but....
oh well - at least i ain't workin overtime
Posted by: TCK | July 27, 2006 at 10:41 PM
A furry, purple, glittery teddy!
Posted by: KDF | July 27, 2006 at 10:46 PM
What's with all the glitter?
Back from the book signing. Geezalou! There were a lot of people there! Sharon is a kick, I really enjoyed meeting her and regret that we didn't get to ch@t over a glass of wine. Dave asked me to e-mail a pic to judi to post on the blog; and I'm going to get some up on my blog before hitting the sack.
(frikkingfilterdoesn't like ch@t)
Posted by: slyeyes | July 27, 2006 at 11:34 PM
Woo hoo, sly! Can't wait to see the pictures. Happy Birthday, again!
Posted by: KDF | July 27, 2006 at 11:39 PM
Here I am, too! Just made it back to Columbia. Sorry about the lack of wine, sly, but it just would have made me sleepy for the long drive home.
and sly, btw, is ALSO a kick! Whodathunkit? She also got a BIG B-DAY HUG from Dave, which was unbelieveably cool. I was envious. T'was a fun shindig all 'round, and I'm VERY glad I went.
I won't be around for most of this weekend tho, so I'll see you all Sunday!
Posted by: sharon share-alike | July 28, 2006 at 12:24 AM
YAYYY! for Sharon a-strumpeting! Didja get any pics of your own, and would you post them, huh? Huh? Huh?
Posted by: Meanie the Blue | July 28, 2006 at 12:29 AM
YAY! for kiltie-meets!! YAY!
Posted by: Sarah J | July 28, 2006 at 12:34 AM
Sharon, glad to see you made it safely back.
I just finished posting pics and narrative on my blog. Link is on my name. I could have sworn I took more pictures than that.
Posted by: slyeyes | July 28, 2006 at 01:04 AM
Wow, another bloglit meet and Kay in a teddy. I really have to stop having a life. Looking forward to the St. Louie pics.

Posted by: Sarah J | July 28, 2006 at 01:45 AM

Posted by: KILT SANDMAN | July 28, 2006 at 02:08 AM
Good morning, Kilties.
Wow, Sly, nice writeup and great pics at your blog. Truly well done.

Posted by: Meanie the Blue | July 28, 2006 at 07:27 AM
Sharon still had her tattoo.
(Not that *I* was ogling or anything, either).

Posted by: southerngirl | July 28, 2006 at 08:55 AM
I meant when I come back this afternoon I'll be ready for beer.
not that I'll be ready for beer when I come back from gettin' coffee.

Posted by: southerngirl | July 28, 2006 at 09:00 AM
Coast (SNORK!) - my kids will be looking down when they do that, I'm sure.
S-Girl, glad you stopped in. Hope you, your husband and his kin come through the hurt OK. We'll have some cold ones ready for you. We know your brand.
Posted by: Meanie the Blue | July 28, 2006 at 09:06 AM
Okay, I don't remember sharing the rum last night, so how can it possibly all be gone?
did somebody mention coffee?
Posted by: ASK, the CD & HO | July 28, 2006 at 09:28 AM
Ya might want to rethink that screenname after your coffee. Just sayin'.
Posted by: Meanie the Blue | July 28, 2006 at 09:33 AM
yes, well, that was a bit open to interpretation, wasn't it?

Posted by: ASK, the CD | July 28, 2006 at 09:44 AM
For ASK.
.oO(How the h&ll can I be SOOO thirsty when I drank SOOO much last night!!)
Posted by: CoastRaven | July 28, 2006 at 09:48 AM

Posted by: Meanie the Blue | July 28, 2006 at 09:53 AM
Good morning, all! Good show, Sharon and sly. Wish I could have been with you girls last night. Sly, your write up was great.
Posted by: KDF | July 28, 2006 at 10:25 AM
sg, we miss you, babe. Hope to see you back soon. Get through the day, and know we're all thinking about you.
Posted by: KDF | July 28, 2006 at 10:30 AM
Blue--the tattoo is DEFINITELY still there...Dave got a GOOD look at it, in fact, when I bent over to give him a book to sign. But I covered it with my hair in the pic just to taunt you. HA!
Gaelic, eh, Coast....? Hmmmmm. Well, my ancestors do reign from the lovely isle of Eire, so......
KISS ME...I'm Irish!!
*bats eyelashes and waits hopefully*
Posted by: sharon share-alike | July 28, 2006 at 10:33 AM
{{s-girl!!}} SOOOOooo glad to see you! I'll be thinking of you today. Take care.
*snork* @ "ASK, the CD & HO". *snork* *snork* *snork*!
But it's a good thing you changed it, or I'd have to give you the posse treatment!
Posted by: sharon share-alike | July 28, 2006 at 10:45 AM
so maybe i should change it back
Posted by: ASK, the CD | July 28, 2006 at 10:51 AM
Posse officer, reporting for duty.
Posted by: KDF | July 28, 2006 at 10:58 AM
*SMOOCH* for shoarn

Posted by: CoastRaven | July 28, 2006 at 10:59 AM

And no, the cricket bat pun never crossed my mind.
Posted by: ASK, the CD | July 28, 2006 at 12:36 PM
*zips in*
Was there a shout out for the posse to gather?
I'm here, what's the assignment?
Posted by: Eleanor | July 28, 2006 at 01:01 PM
?
Did someone forget to crank the Kilt this morning?
Posted by: slyeyes | July 28, 2006 at 02:35 PM
Apparently only a drill, El.
Posted by: Meanie the Blue | July 28, 2006 at 02:36 PM
Kiss Me I'm German.... That was not a request!
Good afternoon everyone. I still have 20 minutes of morning, but who cares.
Get this, I sold my old 88 Celica for parts a year ago. I just got a notification that its being impounded. I keep having recurring thoughts-dreams?- that I pick it up and it works fine. Interesting questions all over.
Great shots of everyone at the Strumpeting event.
Anybody here know the Magazine game?
Posted by: Alfred | July 28, 2006 at 03:15 PM
Um, I've got a cold, Alfred. Sorry.
Posted by: Meanie the Blue | July 28, 2006 at 03:26 PM
OK the first player says he has a cold. This means that every one else has to sneeze.
Next player.
Posted by: Alfred | July 28, 2006 at 03:33 PM
But... but... I .....
Posted by: Meanie the Blue | July 28, 2006 at 03:50 PM
*Achoo*

Posted by: CoastRaven | July 28, 2006 at 03:54 PM
Ok So now everyone has to sneeze and act drunk.
Posted by: Alfred | July 28, 2006 at 03:57 PM
Does it have to be acting?
Posted by: Meanie the Blue | July 28, 2006 at 04:02 PM
it does if you're me!
Posted by: Sarah J | July 28, 2006 at 04:14 PM
*hic*
Posted by: KDF | July 28, 2006 at 04:15 PM
Ok
Now you have to sneeze drunkenly and then over act. (Yes, Sarah acting is ok).
Posted by: Alfred | July 28, 2006 at 04:17 PM
Snotty! We need more power on the bridge... we HAVE to get this blender back online dammit!
(I think that covered all the requirements)
Captain, we havce a plot complication showing up on our sensors now - The Klingons are approaching and they didnt bring their own alcohol.
Posted by: CoastRaven | July 28, 2006 at 04:23 PM
Ok, and now every one has to add a star TRek reference.
Posted by: Alfred | July 28, 2006 at 04:25 PM
what if you don't know any?
Posted by: Sarah J | July 28, 2006 at 04:31 PM
"Snotty"?
*scork*
Posted by: KDF | July 28, 2006 at 04:33 PM
Mr. Sulu, set a course for the pudding planet of drunken naked stewardesses!
Oh, and achoo.
Posted by: ASK, the CD | July 28, 2006 at 05:34 PM
Lt Uwhorahh - get your skimpy skirt ready - this mission(ary) may take all of your feminine whiles. And somebody call Bill C0sby... if there's pudding, theres gotta be Bill.
Posted by: CoastRaven | July 28, 2006 at 06:04 PM
Coast got posted!
Somehow, pointing out that Coast got posted is not as satisfying as when it was Sharon.
Posted by: ASK, the CD | July 28, 2006 at 06:07 PM
another posse member (ahem) reporting for duty.
Sarah, I don't know any, either. :)
KDF, thanks for the thoughts this am.
Blue, I'll have that beer now! and I appreciate it even more, since I know most of you people don't even consider the brand I drink "beer."
Posted by: southerngirl | July 28, 2006 at 06:12 PM
and um, when I said you people I meant that in the nicest possible way. ;P
ASK, maybe Coast disagrees?
Posted by: southerngirl | July 28, 2006 at 06:14 PM
YAYY!!!
*does the happy dance of just got posted*
except I thought the other stories I sent in were funnier
Posted by: CoastRaven | July 28, 2006 at 06:23 PM
No... I agree.. I'd rather get sharon posted than get ASK posted... just sayin
Posted by: CoastRaven | July 28, 2006 at 06:25 PM
Interesting, Coast. Takes all kinds, I guess. ;)
Posted by: KDF | July 28, 2006 at 06:28 PM
