Boy, that is one annoying page to have to look at, with things flashing and moving all over the place.
Forget about the pythons, let's breed some better ad and page designers.

"You know honey, they call this Python Helper for a REASON."
"They're endangered, okay? It's not like the good old days when a python would be hiding under just about every log and hanging off every limb."
"The Jones' seem to have Python three nights a week."
"He works at the frikken zoo! They're breeding them there!"
"Whatever. He's better in the sack, too."
"Well he learned that from...WHAT?"

julietine,
You need to steer clear of MOTW and MKJ. You seemed to have contracted the same "Yips" virus.
I think the local clinic has shots for that.

The reptiles either refused to mate or laid eggs that were infertile due to "inbreeding depression", officials here said.
Can I see the scientific evidence to back this statement up?

I was in Chennai last November. I didn't see any zoos. Or snakes. I'll have to look more carefully next time.

Inviting a woman over to meet your breeding python might be a good way to get slapped.
(moved from wrong thread without any added insights)

I notice the column made no mention of the reticulate python's OTHER relative, the elusive toilet python.

"inbreeding depression" would be a good idea for some people.

And I'm feeling MUCH better now, too.

Yes, I suppose if the best you could do was a cousin, you'd likely be depressed, all right...
