WHEN PEOPLE TRY TO TELL THIS BLOG THAT THERE ARE NO ATTRACTIVE, WELL-DESIGNED INTERNET SITES DEVOTED TO THOUGHTFUL DISCUSSION OF THE VITAL ISSUES OF THE DAY
This blog says: Oh yeah?
UPDATE: Apparently Yahoo has cut off access to this site, probably because the content is simply too volatile for these troubled times.
I wouldn't even know one of their songs if it came up and hit me in the face. :) Then I would hit it back.

What childhood trauma could trigger such a reaction? Hmmm...
Not sure, but it wasn't very long ago...

I get an inactive site??
Posted by: Higgy | December 29, 2004 at 08:45 AM
While I'll have to agree with the sites premise, the "Teeny boppers Blows" thing attached to my mouse pointer blows even worse. Leave my mouse and pointer alone dammit!

I also got the "inactive site" message. What's up?
Posted by: Karlota | December 29, 2004 at 08:48 AM
Site deactivated due to inactivity? I just read it a minute ago. Probably more like over-activity.

Thanks, Derek!
What the hell is the matter with GeoCities?! Did they have a problem with the word "blows" or did we DBbloggers overwhelm the site with hits, consuming bandwidth like these guys use hair gel?

Posted by: Mike Weasel | December 29, 2004 at 11:53 AM
although i have to admit, i liked when they tunneled to the center of the earth by riding on the back of a mutant earthworm

Homophobic Teenage girls!....Priceless!!!
Posted by: julietine | December 29, 2004 at 12:10 PM
Mike - I don't think they were a "band". "Band" kind of implies playing instruments, and all the pictures I ever saw of them showed a bunch of guys wearing headsets who were magically suspended about 3 feet off the ground, but no intruments.
Or did I miss something?

"Or did I miss something?"
Yeah, the Motocross pads and that one dude who has the beard that looks like it was drawn on with mascara. Or was that the Backstreet Boys....

(Looks out the window of the Geezer bus at the horizon, gets a little misty) It's kids like these that make you glad you're alive and able in some small way to help them grow so that we can turn over control of the planet to their generation in a couple of years. These kids know where they are going. Lets remember where we came from.
Barry Manilow sucks.
Cher sucks.
That is all.
