Tina, I'll warm up your buttermilk biscuits if you'll sing:

gratuitous earwig alert

Now I'm your big mal dropper, mud duck stopper
Fila on the bottom and Adidas on the topper
Transform scratchin', big beat matchin'
I can tell you're getting jealous by the looks I'm catchin'
I hate dumb skeezers, MC beaters
Drop 5 grand on my bird white needer? (i have no idea, but i think it's watt meter)
Smooth like ice, don't get nice
Just turn up the box for the Mix-A-Lot slice (huh huh)

Y'all ready to get busy? (huh huh!)
Now, buttermilk biscuits here we go
SIFT the flour roll the dough
Clap your hands and stomp your feet
Move your butt to the funky beat (huh huh)

Federal Duck, you are too much! You make me laugh!! Now if I just knew ANY of these songs it would make more sense. I think Duck Tails was the last reference I got. Oh, and Beethoven.

*Hurries to get in line behind HIM *

*can't wait to get my plate cleaned*

Duck Tales, not Tails. Though you all are busy now, *wink* so probably didn't notice! I'm trying to help my children study, so am distracted. Ironically, we're studying spelling.

Ooooh, a Duck Buttering!

*grabs own dish*
*makes sure is full*
*joins Tina*

So, what are we going to sing?

*Smiles and readies butter*

Y'all ready?

Dearest Knee o' Fight,

These are classic earwigs that nobody with culture or sophistication should know. That's why we all know them by heart.

I'm going to make you a track list of this thread, in case you ever hop on i-Tunes:

1. The Song That Never Ends (artist imaginary)
2. Tiny Toons Theme Song (artist on crack)
3. Ducktales Theme Song (artist a golden god)
4. The Humpty Dance (by Digital Underground)
5. Shake Your Booty (by KC and the Sunshine Band)
6. Buttermilk Biscuits (by Sir Mix-a-Lot)
7. Various references to Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail.

As long as I get to pick the song I'm being buttered to, I choose:

Again with the earwig

Butter - By Ultraspank

Pull me from the toaster
Straight into the roaster
Fill my head with the stuff
Brightest dreams are made of
Bringing me down again
Bringing me down again
Bringing me down again
Bringing me down again

Promising the big guns
Reward when the light comes
Screaming from the damage done
Screaming from the damage done
Bringing me down again
Bringing me down again
Bringing me down again
Bringing me down again

Butter me up, butter me up
Butter me up, butter me up
Butter me up, butter me up
Butter me up, butter me up
Butter me up like I know you will
Cover it up like I know you will
Better yourself like I know you will
Breaking the trust like you always will
Be good for it, you never will
Be good for it, you never will
Be good for it, you never will
Be good for it, you never will
Butter me up, butter me up
Butter me up, butter me up
Butter me up, butter me up
Butter me up, butter me up

So you think you got the best
Thought I was like all the rest
Reaping from the damage done
Reaping from the damage done
Bringing me down again
Bringing me down again
Bringing me down again
Bringing me down again

Never Ending song, check
Tiny Toons, check
Ducktales, check
Booty Shaking song, check
Holy Grail, check

Humpty Dance... I know "Humpty Dumpty Sat on a Wall" Close enough?

Buttermilk Biscuits... Closest I can get is "Flies in the buttermilk, shoo fly shoo, skip to my Lou my darlin' "

Sigh. I think I've been home with my kids too long.

Tina, posting is taking more than my normal 5 minutes now. By the time you get this, you will have buttered him and brought him down.

(Mmmmm, buttered duck... Must be time to fix supper.)

Have fun!

All this talk about buttered duck and Kerry was out using his Migratory Waterfowl stamp today.

It's amazing how far out into left field we can go when there aren't any new threads.

I hope this isn't a sign of things to come, with our intrepid leader on hiatus.

Welp, I hate to leave when the butter's just getting goopy, but it's officially:

Closing Time (by Semisonic, Neo)

Closing time - time for you to go out, go out into the world.
Closing time - turn the lights up over every boy and every girl.
Closing time - one last call for alcohol, so finish your whiskey or beer.
Closing time - you don't have to go home but you can't stay here.

I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
Take me home...

Looks like I missed lots of fun. Work got too busy, and I can't believe my math calculating, time travelling, future predicting ass didn't warn me. I'm going to have to ...

Hey! Who borrowed my ass?

OK, I'm back.

Fed Duck: I like PRE-SEDATE JEFF myself, thanks. In fact, I wish I was sedated. (Long live the -- remaining -- Ramones!) Now that I've gone for a walk and had some dinner I can let it all wash over me. So Tina, go for it if you haven't beaten it to death yet. (And I'm surprised someone hasn't beaten that rabbit to death yet, but that's just me.)

How come Dave has never run an item about Horny Bunnies? Discrimination!

"Quack, Quack!!!"

Jamester and Lee -- I named my Corgi puppy Tribble. I feel almost as old as Cher when anyone younger than, say, my age ahem), says "Tribble? What? Huh? What kind of name is that?" What ever happened to watching ST reruns instead of MTV?

"Animal Hoarding" would make a cool name for a rock band.

Has the rabbit done died?

Let me just check my new ass and find out.

Oh, Well. Hey there Cbol ol buddy ol pal. Ha.
Thought you were um, busy working, didn't expect you to drop by so soon. Erm....

*Hides new borrowed ass behind old ass*

You know, I really gotta go do that uhm, that thing.

*Drops Cbols ass and runs for it*

mmmm... Tina, the Duck is perfect... buttered just right... seasoned, well, we'll leave that one alone. We do good work.

*Smiles and takes another drumstick*
*pours red wine*

Just wait til you see what's on the menu tomorrow!

Anyone not watching the NLCS in St. Louis is a hedonistic pig. What a game, Go Cards!!!!!!!!!!
And yes I am glad the Sox won. Yankees suck, well I like Joe T. (ex-card), but it's (not its) great to see Steinbrenner LOSE. Go cards.

Geez, PeeJay, don't go off topic.

Sorry reneviht, just got on, didn't review, and now we've won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WoooooooHoooooo. Good luck to the Boston Red Sox. I love a spirited competition. We will give you one hell of a series. A, em, BOOGER.

Working on a limereick. I've got "sox" covered but need some assistance on word(s) that rhyme with Astro(s). Please help?!?

There once was a team named the Sox
They loved their lovely long locks
They play with a drive
That kept them alive
But the Cards will put the in a Box.

Egads, you can tell I'm from St. Louius, I've apparently imbibed too much of the local A.B. products. I can't even spell my hometown correctly. Sela; better see some pro Cards posts tommorrow. By the way did anyone notice the "King of beers" is John Kerry's drug of choice. Got to love that.

"Shrieking-Grunting-Bunny-Humping" wbagnfarCD. I don't know, I'm thinking, Red Hot Chili Peppers, or maybe Rob Zombie....

To all of you who are embarassed by your knowlege of things Tribble, I have you all beat. I can tell you that the sound clip posted by Blue Meanie was from "More Trouble, More Tribbles," the sequel to the original episode.

we took my daughter, Steffy to a Card's farm team game in Little Rock, Arkansas when she was 4 years old. The majors had sent Oreste Minosa back to the Travelers to work on his game. All during the game, the fans kept yelling "Come on, Minny! Come on!" Towards the end of the game, Steffy stood up shook her fist at the diamond, she hesitated because she couldn't remember just whom the crowd was cheering. She sighted the vender carrying bags of peanuts and popcorn so she yelled,

"Come on, Peanuts!!! Come on!!

Go Snoopy????

Did you notice that those English Ramparts are ample enough that one of them is in Charlotte, NC and the other is in West Palm Beach, FL? Blimey!

I've got "sox" covered but need some assistance on word(s) that rhyme with Astro(s). Please help?!?

Maybe you could work in something like, you hope they fall like Fidel Castro?

Oops, just saw the news, make that past tense, they already "fell" like Fidel Castro! I missed last night's game.

Did you know that if you hold a guinea pig up by the tail its eyes will pop out?

That is, if you can actually find its tail?!

MKJ - you can accomplish the same thing with a hammer.

Does it bother anyone that these 73 fuzzy bunnies are all brother-sister-uncle-cousin inbred bunnies?

Sarhorse, I can't speak for everyone (wait, yes I can, it just comes out all garbled and speaking in tongues sounding, and I prefer other things for tongues) but I find the inbred brother-sister-cousin bunnies require more picante to taste right.

Chris, chris; sweet misguided chris.

If ye shall please consult the Book of Extrusions, Chapter 3.1416, verse 12, paragraph IX, lines elebenty fourth - elebenty nineteenth, ye shall find that it doth clearly state:

And Jehosephat spaketh unto the multitude, he spaketh, "And verily I speaketh unto you and yorn that whosoever putteth picante upon thine victuals, knowing fulleth-well that the victuals are forsaken (or forsook, for those among ye who forsook thine high-school equivalency test) by the Lord, being inbred in abominable acts of familial carnality, shall be strucketh down upon thine noggin, and shall meet with scorn and ridicule from thine neighbors, especially from thine pool man - who is snogging thine concubine, might I add - not to exceed three tongue lashings, according to the bilaws."

Keep the faith, brother.
