Who would want to be world police other than Dubya?

Dave, it should definitely be nominated, but I've heard of a movie called (Dave Barry's) Guide to Guys, which should be a shoo-in for the top Oscar.

Rachel, would you happen to be Dave's mom, by any chance?

I saw a sneak peek for the this movie on Friday. I highly recommend it. The trailer doesn't actually do it much justice, its absolutely hilarious. I'm probably going to see it again.

So instead of A-Team it's Team-A?

As I understand, this movie has already been declared to not pass the "global test" by such reknowned authorities as Sean Penn, whose upbringing under "red" parents supposedly gives him some kind of insight into which political creeds have staying power.

A movie should be made of "Peter and the Starcatchers". It is a great book.

Dave Does Dallas nominated for best picture

Jeez, why don't you just insert the HTML code for "please apply brown to my nose," you transparent kiss-ups? Mr. Barry is way too cool, suave and sophisticated to be taken in by your pathetic obsequiousness. As opposed to mine.

You should definitely watch this in venti size. Very cool.

The Michael Moore cameo in the Team America trailer is brilliant! I may have to see it based on that alone.

Posted by: wolfie | October 30, 2006 at 01:13 PM
Not to here, El. To the MOAT you picked.
Posted by: «LabSpecimen» | October 30, 2006 at 02:05 PM
Was the MOAT not working before?
We were on the way downtown but had to detour to the car place (long story) and don't know the outcome yet. Walked home (several miles), stopping for lunch along the way (eh), and then had to pick up a new cheap VCR as the one in the bedroom no longer works and Jackie needs to tape two things (and watch a third) tomorrow night at 9:00.

And thanks for the heads up on the move.
Shocker? Not to me.

An interesting (to say the least) list of the 1000 Greatest Films of All Time.

Avis clerk: I just love your little beanie!
Jewish guy: It's actually called a yarmulke. I'm Jewish, and all Jewish men wear them.
Avis clerk: Oh! Well, you have yourself a merry Christmas!
Charlotte Airport, North Carolina
Doh!
