Happy Valley Goose Bay?

Be careful when visiting Happy Valley Goose Bay, if you go out boating, there is an angry whale out there who might just smack you with his tail and swim away without even identifying himself or trading insurance information.

What whale? It was probably a neoconservative SpecialOps covert professional DISGUISED as a whale, on assignment to pay back the nasty Canadians for bad-mouthing the U. S. of A.
Yeah, that must be it.

A Goose Bay lass looking for whale
Got swatted one day by a tail
She thought “If I am near it
Then I can spear it
And you can call me Ishmael”

This type of thing doesn't happen too often. It was just a fluke.

Whales are really sensitive creatures and probably felt hurt when sensing her distrust of them.
This was probably just a defensive reaction on their part. Like how children react when angry.

She must have been taunting the whale. I never had this problem on any boat ride I had when I lived in Oklahoma.

She sounds like the deer who stares at the headlights, then bolts into the path of an oncoming vehicle. Makes one wonder exactly why she has such a fear of whales? I'm thinkin' she's gonna need therapy for sure after this.

Tetsu - you'd have us believe that you were bitten by a radioactive whale as a youth? Are you a photographer, by any chance?

Another notable quote:
"'I used to always laugh at that and say, "There is no way a whale will come near a boat." Well, she proved me wrong.'"
Because, obviously, the wife planned it all with the whale to prove she was right.

Am I the only one (other than Jamester) who immediately flashed on Kirk Douglas singing?
If so, guess I'm even older than I thought.
